Can earthen architectural heritage save us?

Abstract Contemporary architecture seems to turn its back on the past in terms of raw materials taken from environment, their transformation into building components and way they are assembled create buildings. The global challenge preserving environment forces us rethink we produce today. Within this challenge, shows possible ways fill gap between tradition modernity. However, need understand what motivates people abandon ancestral knowledge for that cannot manufacture or use themselves. Is industrial forms irreversible? there nothing can learn our rich past? How revive endogenous environmentally wise architecture? These questions authors, who have been working revival earthen heritage over 20 years, wish answer.
